I first heard of The Design Tribe Ltd by referral from one of their very satisfied clients. Ordinarily, being Dublin based, I would not have considered using the services of a company so far away geographically, but so strong was the recommendation that I received, I felt somewhat obliged to contact them.
Having met Ivan O'Grady of The Design Tribe for over an hour one wet December afternoon, I understood exactly why the recommendation was so strong. I was immediately impressed by Ivan in several ways.
Firstly, Ivan clearly knew his stuff. He could show me endless examples of features that he had incorporated into websites already live. His ideas were totally up to date, resulting in my website being much brighter and fresher than I had envisaged.
Secondly, although Ivan listened intently to my ideas, he was able to enhance the good ones and confidently eliminate my poorer ones quite justifiably. Personally, I appreciate a straight talker in business like Ivan, who saves time and effort by being honest and direct when you present him with an old, weak or overused idea.
Finally, I have dealt with IT personnel over the years who were devoid of personalities. Ivan is not one of those. He is easy to work with. Nothing is too much trouble for him and I will be retaining the services of The Design Tribe to keep my website fresh and up to date in the future.
